Sustainability and quality

These are reflected in all of TPA’s products

Sustainability is rooted in our DNA

We stand for a sustainable future. Our commitment has been unwavering for a century and a half. And as part of Woodwards Group, we are able to take important steps. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our PEFC and FSC® certifications and constant improvement of our processes through our ISO certifications 14001 (environment) and 50001 (energy management). Choosing TPA is to choose a supplier that contributes to the protection of forests and natural resources for future generations.

Certification

Our commitment to sustainability and quality

Sustainable entrepreneurship means taking responsibility and working according to clear agreements. Certification is a crucial aspect. It shows that we are responsible and committed to both quality and sustainability.

  • All our wood is sustainably produced and comes from areas where attention to sustainable forest management is the norm.
  • We are PEFC, FSC®, ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, CE for structural timber and ISPM15 certified.

We act in compliance with EUTR legislation; our wood is traceable back to the forest!

Traceable wood from sustainably managed forests

FSC® and PEFC

All our wood comes from sustainably managed forests. With FSC® and PEFC certifications, we guarantee that our wood comes from responsible sources. Transparency is crucial in this regard. All our timber is therefore fully traceable; from origin to delivery to our customers. This is how we take action on our sustainability ambitions!

Reuse of residual flows

Recycling wood residues and wood waste

Besides sustainable forest management and responsible timber procurement, TPA is also committed to the efficient reuse of residual streams. For example, wood residues and wood waste are recycled as much as possible or processed into energy pellets and bedding in animal housing, for example. This actively contributes to a more sustainable world and a reduction of waste.

Sustainability and profitability

Collaborating for a sustainable future

Sustainability is going to play an increasingly important role at TPA in the future. Responsible forest management and environmental awareness are essential to continue to be successful in the long term. We are convinced that sustainability also ensures better profitability in the long run by using resources efficiently and reducing waste. With full traceability of our products and recycling of wood residues, sustainability goes hand in hand with cost efficiency. Which, in turn, contributes to future-proof growth of the timber sector.
